SUMMARY:Hair for Hayden
DESCRIPTION:Our inaugural event will be a fun way to get our fundraising kicked off right! \nOne hot summer day\, we shared with a group of friends that we had began the journey to start a non-profit organization that was going to raise money for Schaaf-Yang Syndrome research.  Immediately\, the group began brainstorming ways they could help raise money.  After some unique options for fundraising opportunities\, we landed on cutting the beautiful locks of our friends\, Jim Kessler and Derek Buckley\, in return for donations from friends and family. \nNegotiations ensued on what levels of donations would drive what outcomes\, here is where we landed: \n– If we raise $3\,000\, Jim will shave his head \n– If we raise $5\,000\, Derek will shave his head \n– If we raise $10\,000\, Derek will shave his head and beard \n \nThis event will run through October 14th\, so get your donations in now!  If we raise enough money\, the shaving ceremony will happen on October 15th.  A video of the ceremony will be posted on the website shortly after the event. \nFollow the link to donate and check back to the website for updates on how close we are to each fundraising milestone. \nLet’s make Jim and Derek update their LinkedIn profiles! \n  \n10/5 Update – We are just over halfway to our fundraising goal!  Let’s keep up the momentum and get there! \n10/14 Update – Today is the last day to donate.  We need $900 to reach our goal! \n
